Deb Hough, Receptionist

Deb started out as a temporary employee and we just couldn’t let her go!  With her quick wit and wicked sense of humor, she fit into our growing HP&L family right away.

She handles the reception area admirably, keeps the home fires burning (literally by keeping the fireplace going on those cold winter days and damp spring days), answers 7 very busy external phone lines, as well as keeping things very organized for everyone and handles making sure everyone has whatever supplies they need. 

She is a wealth of information and comes to us with a great knowledge of office and administrative procedures and software programs. She is very resourceful and is the first to volunteer for any administrative duties that need to be completed, trying to help out and learn wherever she can. 

She has lived in her large house in Lakeport for the past 34 years; with her son, Matt, and her cat, Kallie. 

Deb is an avid Celtics fan (Rondo is her favorite) and enjoys going to a couple of games a year with her son. She also enjoys the Boston Red Sox. Her other pastimes are eReaders, anything computer-related, as well as hidden object computer games on her laptop, and of course, buying and selling on EBAY! She is in a permanent relationship with a wonderful man named Marc and they have been a couple for 17 years now. They spend as much time as they can at the ocean on the beautiful coast of Maine. Her favorite sayings are “Life is GOOD” and “Chocolate solves everything.”
