Mark is also a native of New Hampshire. He was born in Concord, and raised in Meredith. He now resides in central New Hampshire with his family.
Mark graduated Summa Cum Laude from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as a Minor in Economics. Mark was very active in campus life and his activities and achievements included Class President, Alpha Chi Honor Society, founder Young Republicans Organization, International Peace Award, Political Science Organization, five (5) Co-Curricular Awards, Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities, Golden Key Society, and the Political Science Achievement Award.
In 1995 he earned his Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law also in Springfield, Massachusetts. Here Mark was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and participated in numerous intramural sports. During his third year of law school Mark spent a semester as a visiting student with the University of Detroit Mercy's "London Law Programme", in London, England. During this semester he worked as an intern at the publisher for the international publication, Offshore Investment Journal. Mark is a member of the American, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Belknap County Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for New Hampshire and Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Court of International Trade.
Mark has also been a co-author of several articles for the United States Foreclosure Network (USFN). USFN Reports, "State-by-State", as well as for the National Mortgage Servicers Reference Directory, "New Hampshire Foreclosure Synopsis".
Today, Mark is a member of Haughey, Philpot & Laurent's real estate and foreclosure departments where his practice concentrates on foreclosures. His other areas of practice include real estate law and wills.
Mark's interests outside of the office include hiking, camping, boating, and traveling all with his family, as well as his life-long love for animals.
