Ryan was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania, a city located just east of Gettysburg. He moved to New Hampshire in 2007 and now lives in Concord, New Hampshire.
Ryan graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2005, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and an Emphasis in Rhetorical Studies. Ryan was the Editor in Chief of the School’s publication, “The Last Rhetorician,” a compilation of rhetorical fiction.
In 2010, Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. In law school, Ryan kept very busy as a Teaching Assistant for Federal Civil Procedure, the Uniform Commercial Code, and Advanced Appellate Advocacy while also serving as the President of the American Constitutional Society and Treasurer to the School’s Bookstore, a student owned cooperative.
While in law school, Ryan also competed, coached, and served in the University of New Hampshire School of Law’s Moot Court Program. In 2009, he competed in the Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School. In 2010, he coached in the Saul Lefkowitz International Trademark Association Eastern Regional Moot Court Tournament. Also in 2010, Ryan served as the University of New Hampshire School of Law’s Associate Justice to the Moot Court Program.
Ryan was admitted in 2011 to practice law in the states of New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Ryan’s area(s) of practice are concentrated in Foreclosures, Real Estate, and Real Estate litigation. Today, Ryan is a member of Haughey, Philpot & Laurent’s real estate, real estate litigation, and foreclosure departments.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys cycling, skiing, and hiking, amongst the other outdoor activities that led him to the Granite State.
